We joined the project team for Honda Motors Italia project of electrical motorcycle. We are working in join-venture with Honda Moto Italia and another Slovenian company, Iskra Avtoelektrika, which will take care of developing water-cooled electrical motor and suitable motor controller.

For this project, a special high performance battery pack is developed together with the REC company, using state-of-the-art A123 lithium-iron-phosphate cells, custom BMS circuit with built CAN interface and several different “candies” such as remote data collecting for prototypes using long range ZigBee protocol etc. As planned, first (of two) prototype motors will be ready to run in August 2012 and then we will be able to provide more information on performances as well as some videos, images and technical details, which are not public yet. Thumbs up – this really seems to be great motorcycle!
