catBIKE is an elegant, ultralight foldable electric bicycle. Lithium polymer battery and electronics is built into the frame itself, the motor is in the front wheel – so at the first sight, we don’t even realize that catBIKE is an electric bike!
We can fold or un-fold catBIKE in several seconds and because of the really light weight (14 kg with batteries!) and small size when folded (114 x 26 x 48 cm) it can be simply taken to the apartment, office, bus, train, car … In this way the possibility that someone will steal our catBIKE is minimal! A folded catBIKE also fits in almost every car boot and is therefore also ideal for campers or yachts! The full-aluminium frame is extremelly sturdy and ensures safe and stable riding!
In the front wheel there is a 190 W electric brushless motor, which is powerful enough to push the bike without our help – however we can also use the peddals – in the “assist” mode the electronics will automaticly adjust the motor power in a way, that pedalling power will be much lower then normally. catBIKE has a built-in lithium polymer battery, which has enough capacity for approx. 15 km of riding (we can also extend this range using additional battery pack – see catBIKE add-ons). 190 W of power is enough for driving with the speed between 20 and 25 km/h, however on the startup the motor power can reach up to 500 W, which ensures great acceleration and response.
Using catBIKE is really simple. There are 2 modes avalible:
We can run catBIKE as an ordinary bicycle (“assist” mode), where electronics detects, how fast we pedal and controlls the motor power in a way, that pedalling is much easier.
We can run catBIKE as a motorcycle – in this mode we don’t need to pedal during the ride, but the motor ensures all the power needed.

Also important:
- Motor power follows the EU regulations for electric bicycles so all rules, that apply to ordinary bicycles, apply also for riding catBIKE (helmet not required, no need for insurance …).
